Hey Woman! I'm Breana Wright, the Executive Director of the Wright Woman, based out of the Inland Empire in California. I am a nobody whom God uses as hands and feet to love women for who they are and not what they look like or where they’ve been. It all started on February 12, 2021. That day I heard God speak to me in a Beverly Hills Hotel when I was preparing to undergo ivf. He told me to text all the women in my phone and invite them on a zoom call. I didnt know the specifics of what he had planned or what he needed me to say, all I know is I heard him so clearly and I wanted to be obedient. From there, the WW was conceived. (Ironic huh?) It ended up being a small Christian bible study on Monday nights via zoom. Intentional bible studies that used the mysteries of the Word of God, to cater to the needs of broken, troubled and unidentified women who didnt know who they were or where they were going. The Wright Woman began to slowly flunctuate in numbers starting from about 40 women to 2 women. I never understood why until now. However, over the course of 3 years, the WW has hosted numerous of brunches and a retreat that has left women freed & healed. We have honest and vulnerable conversations that allow women to tell their testimonies from their pasts and ultimately, they become the vehicle who jump starts the healing for another women. Here we are, in October of 2023, the Wright Woman became an official public charity under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3).
